I’ve tried giving this place a try three times and they always seem to miss the mark.
First time a year ago all of my nails turned green within a day of getting them done. I had to repeat to the tech a few times what I wanted but they kept going what they wanted so they got frustrated with me, when I asked for coffee they never brought it out till closer to the end of my service and it was not that great of coffee watered down. When I came back a day or two later to get my nails fixed ( 4 popped off leaving my long natural nails damaged and green because they did a fill instead of a full set) come to realize they charged me for a full set. They fixed it by doing only a clear set over my nails still exposing the green my nails turned into. No partial refund no apology, just them saying it was something I did.
Then a month ago I figured I won’t get anything fancy because the person doing my nails didn’t seem to want to be there and took forever coming out of the back and by the time she did she just sat down and started clipping my long naturals down as if I had not grown them out for years. She didn’t ask me what I wanted to do with my nails until after she snipped half my nails off, then got upset when I asked for coffee but started saying something in another language that made the other techs try and talk me into something else. Never got that coffee. I then asked for a water realizing they never brought me coffee, I can hear her from around the corner cause she was the loudest one in the back, when she finally came out with water. I wanted to ask her about doing a fill with gel x (what I came in with) but they tried to just talk me into doing dip and gel over. I’m trying to avoid dip because I didn’t want to do a whole soak off and and apply completely different product on. The lady got up again arguing with someone in the back and then had someone else do my nails not really answering my question. So it was pretty awkward then when I tried to make the question easier clients around me tried to answer for them but that didn’t help. So when I noticed they were just doing soft gel on my whole natural nails (by this time it was just the left hand that was long and my right hand significantly shorter) I asked if this was going to be strong protection for my natural nails and if they had hard gel. She said it was going to cost more, I didn’t mind cause I had came in with 6 gems on I don’t care the cost just make it look professional. The client next to me tried to answer for her but she had only gotten basic nails and wasn’t helpful either. So all that fuss for them to cut my nails down uneven to the other hand with just gel polish on. I cried when I got home because it was going to take me forever to grow them out again
So if you have natural nails and want something nice just take the time to find someone that loves the craft and knows what they are doing.
Gave this place a few tries and will never go back. Uneven sides and my nail broke the next day, very awkward customer service not relaxing at all. I live on campus so it’s supposed to be convenient but I’ll avoid this place as should you.
Pics are from a year ago what I have chosen, coffee, various shades of green and gaps, and what the outcome was.
Didn’t take pictures of this current time because I was too embarrassed and upset and had made up my mind to be done with this place.
Came for a sister trip we ended up getting our nails done!! Extremely friendly and great pricing!!
I will be coming back!
Had a great experience for my first time. Very professional and clean and detailed job on my gel pedicure and Nail X with design will definitely be back. Friendly staff and environment.
My favorite nail place in austin, an older lady this morning did an excellent job on my toes and Thanh did an amazing job on my nails and was very kind! It’s also very affordable for a college student as they do 10% off with an ID. Coffee tastes amazing too!
I go to this place all the time. I will never go anywhere else. I have never been disappointed. I see a different tech every time and literally everyone is so nice and extremely detailed and great at their jobs. I’ve gotten acrylic’s and …

Started coming to this as my new nail salon at the start of the new year, pleased with how the nails turn out directly after. Very dissatisfied at how long they last, maybe 4-5 days following, the gel color starts chipping or peeling back on atleast 2 nails. Not practical maintenance wise for the nails to not last even a week.
TL;DR The nail art is fantastic, but the lack of sterilization or disinfection between clients and having my actual cuticle cut to the point of bleeding prevents me from wanting to return any time soon.the first photo is directly after and …
